James Glinsek

Programmer

James Glinsek is a software developer for RezStream with over 15 years development experience including desktop and web applications, back end systems and database development. James has a passion for designing software that is not only easy to use and understand, but also robust and reliable; Glinsek prides himself in creating software that you might even enjoy using!

After graduating from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, James went to work in the hospitality industry as the first employee of MunsenWare, the company behind the original Guest Tracker property management software. At MunsenWare, James developed an affinity for the hospitality industry while working with innkeepers and property owners across the country (and the world) as both a software developer and a support representative. Eventually, James took over the lead development role and delivered several successful releases of Guest Tracker and related products.

Since that time, James has worked as a software developer/architect at a major global insurance company and as a freelance web and software designer/developer for several small businesses before joining RezStream. At RezStream, James is in charge of the development of the RezStream Booking Engine and its integration points with RezStream Professional PMS, the various global distribution systems and RezStream customer websites. In addition, James is the developer behind RezStream’s SystemLink, RezStream’s Call Accounting Module and a handful of features within RezStream Professional.

When Glinsek is not sitting behind his computer, James enjoys life with his wife and two beautiful little girls, playing drums in his band and taking advantage of Minnesota’s great outdoors that includes fishing, hunting, golfing, biking, hiking and anything else he can fit into his busy schedule!
