Alan Whittern
President and Chief Technical Officer

Alan Whittern, co-founder and co-owner of RezStream, has unparalleled experience in designing and marketing property management software. He previously created WinROOM, Avail, and RezOvation Desktop, proven guest management systems of the last fifteen years.  Alan is also the co-creator of RezStream Professional and heads our development team.  Alan is also a Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador. 

Alan’s vast experience in developing property management software is evident in his proven track record in creating user friendly, robust, property management software systems.  When Alan is not programming he enjoys playing ice hockey, rock climbing, and camping with his family.

Bill Mitchell
Chief Operating Officer

Bill is the co-founder and co-owner of RezStream. As Chief Operating Officer, Bill supervises the website design and Internet marketing teams.

Bill has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry with extensive knowledge in website design and Internet marketing.

Bill also co-created RezStream Professional, our flagship property management software program. Bill’s multi-dimensional hospitality business expertise helps him understand the needs of RezStream's varied users.

Prior to RezStream, Bill was a teacher in Denver’s school system for nine years.

Tess Booth
Office Manager

Tess Booth is the Office Manager for RezStream. She is responsible for managing a wide variety of operations within the company, including RezStream’s finances and billing, company marketing and business development events, monthly newsletter writing, editing, and distribution, additional general editorial work, human resources, and client relations.

Tess is a Colorado native. Tess was a double major at the University of Colorado in Boulder with several academic and writing scholarships. She earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.

Tess’s professional background in marketing and finance over the past decade includes work within an investment consulting firm and a nationally recognized medical association. She has a passion for writing and editing both in business and in her spare time.

Tiffany Dunn
Sales Account Representative

Tiffany joined the RezStream team in March of 2008.

Shon Hopkins
Sales Account Representative

Shon Hopkins is a sales representative for RezStream.  He has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing while working for companies such as Dell Computer, Kinko’s Fed Ex, and Gallo Wine.  Shon has been working in the business development department with the owners and developers of RezStream Professional for the last four years.

Shon majored in Marketing while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.  Shon lives in Austin, Texas.

William Randol
Senior Technical Support Specialist

William Randol is a senior technical support specialist for RezStream.  He has been helping our customers in the hospitality industry since 2002.  William is greatly experienced in helping customers use RezStream in ways that best suit their needs.  Will has also helped in updating the online calendars, the implementation and maintenance of new websites, emails, booking engines, and software accounts.

William studied Interactive Media Design at the Art Institute of Colorado and is an A+ Certified Computer Technician.  William also served four years in the United States Army.

William has vast computer knowledge and has the ability to explain how RezStream systems function in ways that are easily understood, even by those with no technical experience.  His creativity and practicality have helped numerous customers overcome the challenges of learning and implementing new software systems.

John Copeland
Technical Support Specialist

John Copeland is a support technician for the RezStream support team.  John has supported RezStream customers for a little over a year in technical support, domain administration, and email marketing.

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Spanish from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

In technical support, John provides assistance with the RezStream Professional software and booking engine, as well as the additional modules such as credit card processing, property management, and point of sale.  In addition, John is involved with the administration of client websites and email accounts.  He is dedicated to the timely delivery and tracking of client email campaigns.

John maintains an active lifestyle during the summer playing soccer and golf and during the winter snow boarding.

Keith Scott
Technical Support Specialist

Keith joined the RezStream team in March of 2008 and brings a wealth of knowledge in the technology industry. Keith has worked for a web hosting company most recently and has held other positions in the computer industry.

Kevin Guill
Website Design and Development Manager

Kevin Guill is the Website Design Manager for RezStream.  He has a keen eye for detail and ensures that all RezStream websites convert at the highest possible rate.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Minor in Political Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver.  Kevin is also a Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador. 

Kevin joined RezStream’s design team in early 2007.  He is focused on developing visually appealing, standards-compliant, and high-performing websites for users to enjoy.  Kevin’s enthusiasm for blending technical elements and visual esthetics make all RezStream website designs truly unique.

Jessica Dooley
Web Developer

Jessica Dooley is a senior level website developer and designer for RezStream.  Jessica also overseas the RezStream website changes department which is committed to providing responsive service to our website design and promotion clients to ensure all website changes are done accurately and quickly.

Jessica Dooley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts and a Minor in Multimedia Design from the University of Oregon.  Jessica moved from Oregon to Colorado after graduation to seek new challenges in website design and development.   

Jessica was designing and developing websites for nearly five years as in independent contractor before joining the RezStream design Team.  RezStream’s process of combining beautiful website designs with suburb functionality, while also implementing standard compliant CSS and XHTML code fit Jessica’s career path perfectly. 

Justin Waite
Graphic Designer

Justin Waite is the newest addition to RezStream’s website design team.  Justin specializes in new website designs and assists our design team in building websites and implementing changes in a timely manner. 

Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Following college Justin became a freelance designer where he learned valuable skills of communication with clients.

As a graphic designer, Justin enjoys specializing in website building, print media, and marketing strategies.   In addition, Justin has a passion for photography which he integrates into his designing.  Justin maintains a keen interest in furthering his skills and is always trying out new techniques.   

Katie White
Internet Marketing Manager

Katie White is the Internet Marketing Manager for RezStream.  Katie started her Internet marketing career for the hospitality and tourism industry almost four years ago.  During this time Katie has successfully promoted boutique hotels, luxury resorts, chain hotels, inns, condos, bed and breakfasts, campgrounds, property management companies, directory websites, chamber websites, and real estate websites to name a few. Additionally, Katie has been a speaker on the topic of Internet marketing at numerous events throughout the country.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

Katie’s expertise in Internet marketing is in sending targeted traffic to websites through the following channels: pay-per-click accounts, search engine optimization, link-building, niche marketing, directory submissions, local marketing, content building, and more.  Katie has a commitment for tracking results as well as testing the latest Internet marketing techniques derived from the endless research she completes.

Katie competed and started in competitive softball at the University of Northern Colorado for four years.  She continues her passion for sports today by playing on men’s and women’s competitive slow pitch teams.

Minh Huynh
Account Manager

Minh Huynh is an account manager on RezStream’s Internet marketing team.  He manages search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and email marketing for our clients. 

Minh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Park College in Missouri and attended law school at the University of Denver.  Minh is also a Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador and Google Ad Words Certified Marketing Specialist. 

Prior to joining RezStream, Minh was part of a search engine marketing team for an Internet company based in Denver.  His skills include pay-per-click campaigns on the Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, Miva and LookSmart search engines.  Additionally, Minh has a background in market research for several Fortune 500 clients such as Exxon Mobil, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and General Motors.

Minh is from the Washington, DC area.  In his spare time, Minh plays hockey, skis, and composes music on the guitar and piano.

Jen Hodge
Account Manager

Jen Hodge is an account manager on RezStream’s Internet marketing team.  Jen’s interest in Internet marketing began roughly four years ago after having spent over a decade in the hospitality industry.  Jen has a diverse background in hospitality ranging from managing a four star guest dude ranch to training and marketing at the corporate level for a major restaurant chain.  

Jen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma on an academic scholarship. 

Jen’s varied past experiences in hospitality marketing helped her launch her search engine optimization career.  Her previous experience includes promoting hotel websites, resort websites, and bed and breakfast websites.  Her areas of expertise include search engine optimization, pay-per-click management, content building, and other search engine optimization techniques.  

Jen is from Oklahoma.  When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking for her husband and playing with her new son.  

Pat Robinson
Account Manager

Pat Robinson is an account manager on RezStream’s Internet marketing team.  Pat has several years experience managing client accounts in a variety of industries including publishing, finance, and electronics.  Her career emphasis has been on competitive analysis, market research and analysis, creating and implementing marketing campaigns, and Internet marketing. 

Pat earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.  She is currently attending Sessions Online School of Design where she is completing a web design certificate program, which includes courses in web design, website information architecture, and website usability.  In Addition, Pat is also a Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador. 

Pat grew up in a small resort town in Western Michigan and has been around the hospitality industry for many years.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Matt Trachimowicz
Account Manager

Matt Trachimowicz is an account manager on RezStream’s Internet marketing team. He manages search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and email marketing for our clients.

Matt spent his early years growing up in Texas but has since resided in a number of places around the globe including Massachusetts, England and currently in Colorado.

Prior to moving to Denver, Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Over the last few years Matt has held various positions supporting IT infrastructures for organizations in both the financial and hospitality industries. In addition to his technical support experience, he also has a wealth of knowledge in website design and development.

When not in the office, Matt’s hobbies include traveling and photography, and he stays active year-round with cycling, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.

Mark Kleinsmith
Technical Writer and Sales Representative

Mark Kleinsmith has been supporting, installing, marketing, and selling property management software systems since 1994.  For the past three years, Mark has contributed to the RezStream team by parlaying his extensive background in managing complex property management software installations into writing technical documentation with the end user in mind. 

Mark has created documentation for several RezStream applications, including RezStream Professional, the RezStream Booking Engine, the Credit Card Processing module, and the Property Management module.  He is currently in the process of re-writing the RezStream Help System to be compliant with the Windows Vista operating system.

Laura Clark
Senior Editor

Laura Clark has an extensive and varied experience in the hospitality industry.  Previously, Laura served as the Membership Inspector for the Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado (BBIC) for 11 years.  She credits over 1000 inn visits to her resume.  Laura also worked for the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII) in coordinating their national conference events.

Prior to RezStream, Laura was a licensed realtor for 20 years and most recently was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a well-known homebuilder in Denver.  Laura also obtained extensive editing experience as the senior editor for a nationally recognized speaker and author for five years before her tenure at RezStream.

Laura has worked with the owners of RezStream for over four years.  Laura edits all of the RezStream user manuals, the monthly RezNEWS newsletter, helps oversee marketing campaigns, and is currently working on updating the RezStream Professional PMS help files.

Laura received an academic scholarship to Northwestern University and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
