PocketRez Install Instructions
To install, please do the following:
1. Check your Pocket PC version and confirm that it is compatible with the PocketRez application. Currently we support Pocket PC version 2002 through 2003 (first edition). To check your version, please do the following:
Click Start.
Click Settings.
Click the System tab.
Click About.
2. Check your version of RezStream by opening RezStream and selecting Help> About from the menu. Version should be 2004.0.2 or greater. If you are still using 2003 or an earlier version of 2004, then you will need to download an update by going to Help > Support > Download Update.
3. Obtain an authorization code to enable the Pocket Rez functionality. If you have already purchased the Pocket PC module, then you can call us at 303-589-2256. If you have not purchased the Pocket PC module, then please contact the sales team at 866-565-1800.
4. Uninstall any previous version of PocketRez on your Pocket PC. It is not necessary to remove the Booster program unless there are no other programs using it.
5. Download the following file:
http://www.RezStream.com/downloads/PocketRezSetup.exe
When prompted, choose "Save" when prompted, and save the file to a location on your computer such as My Documents or Desktop.
6. Browse to the location on your computer where you saved the file, and launch PocketRezSetup.exe. This will install the PocketRez program to your Pocket PC. Look at the screen on your Pocket PC after the install has completed to make sure that no other steps are required to complete the installation process.
7. Export your contacts and reservations to PocketRez by opening RezStream and selecting either the Export to PocketRez icon at the top of the screen or File > Pocket PC > Export to Pocket PC.
8. After you have entered reservations into the Pocket PC, import the reservations into RezStream by opening RezStream and selecting either the Import Requests from PocketRez icon at the top of the screen or File > Pocket PC > Import Requests.
NOTE: You must for import any requests from the Pocket PC to RezStream BEFORE you export any data to the Pocket PC. If you do not follow this procedure, you will erase any requests on the Pocket PC.
You also have the option to export all contacts, or only updated contacts. The first time you export you should export all contacts.
