Can I Use RezStream Professional on an Alternative Operating System?

The short answer to this question is 'No', but there are some qualifiers.
RezStream Professional was written for and is supported on only Windows 98SE and above running on a standard IBM-compatible PC. There are several other operating systems and hardware platforms, but there are no current plans to expand into programming for non-Windows PCs.

Some customers have asked about the possibility of running RezStream Professional under alternative systems. Here are the results as we know them.

MACINTOSH

Although RezStream Professional is Windows-based software and has no Macintosh OS version available, there are clients running RezStream Professional on their Macs by using Windows-emulation software. The most popular program to do this with has been Virtual PC.

Although RezStream Professional is still happy to support features and functions inside the RezStream Professional program, they can not support the program running on a Macintosh or any other difficulties or concerns that may arise outside of the program.

LINUX

There are no plans to release a Linux version of RezStream Professional at this time. RezStream Professional has heard of customers planning to use RezStream Professional in a Linux environment, using a Linux-based Windows emulator such as WINE, but has not had any word on the success or failure of such a project.

HAND HELD PC

RezStream Professional has a Pocket PC add-on module that is supported on the Pocket PC platform, and is currently compatible with the Pocket PC OS versions 2002-2003 Premium. Note that RezStream Professional is not compatible with all PocketPCs running version 2003SE.
