Solution: The error message is related to some cab files that are still on the machine from the previous failed install attempts. These files are in the Windows directory. (Temp cab files do not need to be deleted.)
To fix the problem:
- Go to the start menu to "Find" or "Search"
- Do a search for files named: rez*.cab
- Go to the top "Edit" menu and choose "Select All" Then press your delete key to delete these cab files.
- Try installing the program again. It should install.

Top - Windows 98 Issues
We have had several instances where we needed to install the Dcom , Mdac , and Jet files (in that exact order) to make RezStream work on some Windows 98 systems. In addition, it seems that in even rarer cases, when these files do not do the trick, that we need to also install Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5 to make it work. Internet Explorer Version 6.0 does fix this rare problem. We have a version of Internet Explorer in our "Extra" folder on our cd-rom.

- Windows 2000 Issues
In some cases erroneous error messages pop up during the install process. Select ignore all, ignore, over and over again. This will get you past these messages. RezStream will install just fine.
Top - Windows XP Issues
In some cases the text in RezStream will not display properly due to the font size that is set in Windows. To correct this issue you must set the font size to the standard setting. To change this setting, do the following:
- Right click on the Desktop
- Select properties > Settings > Advanced.
- Select the General Tab, and change the DPI setting to Normal Size (96 DPI).
