Located in southwestern Colorado in the charming town of Montrose, Country Lodge is an affordably priced lodging option that is hard to beat. Near endless outdoor adventure opportunities such as Black Canyon National Park, the Grand Mesa, and Uncompahgre National Forests, the property features 22 lodge accommodations, many of which are themed rooms named the “John Wayne” (this actual room was home to the actor during the filming of True Grit) or the “Prospector.” These cozy quarters offer pieced quilts, knotty pine walls, rocking chairs, and the convenience of in-room microwaves, refrigerators, and WIFI—touches certainly appreciated by travelers. The property also boasts an inviting courtyard with redwood decks, flowering pots, lilac bushes, and bird feeders as well as a swimming pool and hot tub.
As good as all that sounds, what Country Lodge still lacked was two-fold. The owners desired more efficient property management tools for their day-to-day operations and an online marketing plan was necessary to increase website revenue. Potential guests needed a website that provided easier navigational tools and had online reservation capabilities. RezStream presented solutions for each of Country Lodge’s needs!
Country Lodge decided to utilize RezStream’s superior hospitality solutions and services. RezStream Professional, RezStream’s flagship property management software system, was installed for front desk reservation management. The RezStream Booking Engine was employed to facilitate online reservation potential and the RezStream Credit Card Processing module insured seamless money management.
The owners of Country Lodge pride themselves in providing guests more “than just a place to sleep.” RezStream enhanced the guest experience by making the Country Lodge website more user friendly by simple navigation and improved overall website content and layout. Previously, website photographs were located where standard navigation tools should exist, the website lacked relevant content about the property, rooms, and local area, and the old design necessitated tedious scrolling of the home page. After viewing before and after website designs for Country Lodge, it is evident that RezStream’s comprehensive website design, hosting and promotion package was vital.
Country Lodge’s website now utilizes a code compliant cascading style sheet (CSS), which is not only search engine friendly, but also reader friendly with enhanced property content for the website visitor. RezStream’s long-term promotion and marketing goal is to boost the Country Lodge website performance by increasing visibility for general search engine terms and to generate new traffic to the website with the creation of an attraction page, which will entice travelers to stay at Country Lodge. Website revenue will be closely monitored by the use of the RezStream Tracker. The RezStream Tracker features numerous online revenue tracking reports and monitors key website traffic patterns.
