ENHANCED FEATURES now found in RezStream Professional 2007.5.5:
New two-way GDS module
RezStream now offers a two-way GDS link that automatically transfers all GDS reservations directly into both the RezStream Booking Engine and RezStream Professional PMS. For added convenience, existing GDS reservation cancellations and GDS reservation changes are also processed without manual entry.
Note: Existing RezStream GDS customers will be called to activate your two-way GDS module at no additional cost! If you are not using RezStream GDS services, please call RezStream sales at 866-360-8210.

Introducing our restaurant module via RezStream “SystemLink”
Connect RezStream Professional to numerous point of sale systems such as Micros, Aloha, Digital Dining, and others. RezStream SystemLink automatically transfers charges from your restaurant POS system directly into RezStream Professional.
Additional RezStream SystemLink modules such as key card integration and in-room movies coming soon! In fact, RezStream SystemLink can link to hundreds of independent hospitality modules.

Enhanced credit card encryption
RezStream has updated all credit card encryption within RezStream Professional to comply with the latest industry standards. Please note that after updating to RezStream Professional versions 2007.5.0 or higher, it will take longer than normal for the program to open while it updates all stored credit cards within the system. Once the update is complete, you will still be able to access credit card numbers in the same manner as before you performed the update.
Enhanced custom envelope printing
In addition to the custom envelope creation tools we developed in a recent RezStream Professional update, RezStream has also included a new printer option for pinpoint control over all envelope print settings. You may now create fully custom envelopes and control envelope print settings as needed. This new setting can be found in RezStream Professional under: Tools>Print Options.
Bug Fixes
We addressed and corrected an issue where packages were not working correctly in the RezStream Booking Engine. We fixed deposit calculations for booking engine reservation deposits in the payment screen within RezStream Professional. We also resolved an issue where processing a payment for gift certificates caused an error message and/or gift certificate payments to not appear in payment reports. (This bug only affected initial test builds of version 2007.5.0 and higher.) We also remedied an issue where booking engine advanced deposit payments (real-time payments) were not being exported to QuickBooks.
What’s next?
RezStream will be releasing a brand new credit card gateway very soon. All programming and testing is nearly complete. This gateway will better serve the needs of lodging clients and also offer credit card processing services to our Canadian customers! We are still working on split billing/City Ledger features.
