Early 2022 Cloud Enhancements

You may have noticed that things have been changing and improving! Over the past month or so we’ve been busy releasing lots of smaller enhancements and fixes to make your lives easier and better.

rezStream Cloud Experiences

One simple but bold change we recently introduced was improved styling of the date header section of the Occupancy Map. This change improves the user experience of the Occupancy Map and makes it easier to differentiate the dates from the rest of the map.

Another common request we’ve heard from customers is that it was a bit hard to identify the primary email or phone number for a guest at a glance. We’ve made some styling changes to address that as well!

Guest Experiences

Within the Booking Engine, we’ve introduced a couple of useful features to simplify your lives and to improve the booking experience for your guests.

New Confirmation Options
We’ve introduced the ability to customize the Confirm and Thank You pages of the Booking Engine which gives you complete control over the message your guest receives upon booking. This includes:

    • Customizing what a “reservation” is called. This is useful for those who want more control over online bookings and might refer to them as “Requests” rather than “Reservations”.
    • Complete control over the Thank You message that is shown to your guest after successfully completing a booking.
    • Control over the Payment Failed messaging, so you can properly communicate what your guest must do next if their Credit Card was declined or failed during the booking process.

Custom Message
A new Custom Message option now allows you to easily insert a message at the top of select booking engine pages so you can more easily control important and timely messages to your guests while they are booking.

Better Phone Number Information
We’ve also simplified and modernized the phone number input on the Confirmation page. Now we will properly capture the type of phone number and ask for permission to send SMS texts to that phone number.

The Guest Lifetime Value Report

And lastly, we’ve added a new report to help you track and utilize your most important asset – your guests! The Guest Lifetime Value report provides a wealth of useful information about your guests and their history with you.
